Hello!! Welcome to my website!!

My name is Phyllis, I'm married to a wonderful Christian man, and we have two great kids. I absolutely love being a wife and mom...it's what I live for! God has truly blessed me with a wonderful family! I live in California. I was raised in a pastor's home, so I have been in church all my life. I finally dedicated my life to the Lord when I was 18 years old and in college. I will never forget that weekend!! Life, of course, has had it's struggles, but then, it wouldn't be life without a few trials. We have to have both the sun AND the rain to grow!

Why do I write? Because I have to. God gave me a talent. HE gives me the words. HE is my inspiration. HE called me to write.
I was always taught that if I didn't use the talents God gave me, I would lose them. Well, I refuse to lose a gift from my Lord.
I don't write for the prestige or recognition, the publishings or awards...I write because poetry is a part of my soul. When I cry out to my Father, when I worship, when I praise, the words flow in rhyme and I just can't contain them.
I write about the things that mean the most to me...my Savior, my family, my friends, and God's unending love and grace.

This is my prayer:
"Lord,
You've given me words to write, for sometimes the written word will reach farther than the voice can carry. Father, I ask that whoever may read these words will be blessed. That they will come to know You if they have yet to seek Your face. That these words will encourage those who do know You, but are going through the trials of this life. Open the hearts of the readers. Speak through these words typed with love. Lord, fill the hearts of each person who reads Your words with the knowledge of Your love and grace. Grant this request, I beseach you, Father.
